The National Cinema Center of Armenia participated in the Francophonie Days program with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.


Since 2018, the National Cinema Center of Armenia has been cooperating with the French La Fête du Court métrage, the international organization "Festival of Short Films", and holds joint events with its partners every year on the occasion of the Francophonie season.


This year the celebration takes place on March 20-26. On March 20, the International Day of Francophonie, a screening of French-language films was held at the Russian-Armenian University (RAU) within the framework of this festival. The event was organized in collaboration with the Chair of Theory of Language and Intercultural Communication of the RAU. The geography of the films was very wide, from Argentina to Reunion Island.


Luminaris, а film by Juan Pablo Zaramella The program kicked off with an exclusive short Luminaris, a film by Juan Pablo Zaramella, which has entered the Guinness Book of Records for winning the most festivals (totaling 324).


The program included old and modern animated and short feature films, such as Nout Karé, Bad Gones , Les Kiriki, acrobates japonais, The Soloists , Haram.
Each screening was followed by a discussion of the film in French.
