Prior to the centenary of Armenian cinema, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Cinema Center of Armenia and the Museum of Literature and Art after Yeghishe Charents. The heads of the two state institutions, Shushanik Mirzakhanyan and Vahagn Sargsyan stated that the ratification of the Memorandum meets the interests of both cultural institutions, from now on expanding the scope of cooperation on an official basis. According to the Memorandum, the parties will implement scientific-educational, cultural-entertainment joint programs, as well as creative-educational projects with reference to Armenian film heritage.

The signing of the Memorandum will greatly promote the processes of studying and publicizing the history of the Armenian film heritage. Research, exhibition and publishing projects are planned to be carried out regularly in the frames of the mentioned cooperation. At the moment, a research brochure to illustrate the restoration of Frunze Dovlatyan's "Hello, it's me" is being prepared, which will march the kick off of the publication of a new series dedicated to Armenian classical cinema.

It’s worth mentioning that the largest archival collections of Armenian cinema are preserved in the Museum of Literature and Art - inexhaustible material for continuous research and discovery.
