On May 21, the National Cinema Center of Armenia hosted a Happy Hour reception in the Armenian booth in the Marche du Film market of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival. The event was attended by many guests, representatives of international partner organizations, film funds and film institutions.
The RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France Hasmik Tolmajyan, Deputy of the French National Assembly Alexandra Martin and head of the Armenian community of Cannes Yasmin Yardimyan were the honored guests of the event.
During the Happy Hour, the representative of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Sheree Ramage, together with the representatives of the Lithuanian co-production company Artbox Laisvalaikio Klubas handed the "Best Animation" award for the film AURORA’S SUNRISE (director: Inna Sahakyan) to Vardan Hovhannisyan, the producer of the film and founder of the Bars media company. The screening of AURORA’S SUNRISE kicked off in the Marche du Film’s Lerins 2 cinema hall in the presence of honored guests immediately after the award ceremony.
