The "Armenian Cine-Century" regional program continued its series of screenings in Tavush region from 6 to 10 August
The fact that the screenings were organized not only in the border towns but also in the military unit is particularly important. The residents of Tavush warmly welcomed both familiar and popular films of the national cinematography, as well as modern ones, which are still new to the audience. The feature documentary “Our Komandos” was warmly received by the Armenian soldiers. After the screening, they stressed the importance of showcasing such films in military units and military educational institutions.
After screenings in different towns of Tavush, the audience emphasized the necessity and importance of implementing similar programs in the regions more often in order to keep the permanent connection between national cinema and the Armenian audience.
N.b. As part of the 100th-anniversary celebration of Armenian cinema, the National Cinema Center of Armenia is carrying out the "Armenian Cine-Century" regional program.
The program is carried out in 10 provinces of Armenia showcasing films in schools, cultural center halls, and even outdoor squares.
