We are delighted to share that The Song of Flying Leaves, a short animation by Armine Anda had 8 selections-Chicago International Children's Film Festival, Amarcort Film Festival (Academy Qualifying Competition, USA), competition programs of Amarcort Film Festival (Italy), Linea d'Ombra (Italy), Tbilisi International Animation Festival-TIAF (Gerogia), FERATUM FILM FEST (Mexico), Festival ICONA (Greece), children program of Maniatic International Festival of Fantastic Films, and received "Best Animated Short Film" Award in Rolan International Film Festival for Children and Young People (Armenia) by the young jury represented by the students of Tumo Cener of Technology Center, Armenia.
We would like also to mention the film had 11 selections in October, including Academy qualifying competitions in Anim’Est (Romania) and Bolton FF (UK), and received “Honorable Mention–Grand Prize” in Ajayu International Animation Festival (Peru).
The film is the first Armenia-Iran animation. It is a co-production of "Hoshkee Film" (Armenia) and “Hoorakhsh Studios” (Iran). The script is co-written by the director and the famous Ukranian film director Roman Balayan. The Art Director of the film is Anna Hakopian, and the composer- Miqayel Voskanyan. Voice acting is by Armine Anda and Gagik Ghazareh.
